A Dream Planted in the Heart of Nashik
Soma's story began with the vision of Mr. Pradeep Pachpatil-an experienced winemaker who dreamed of creating a destination that offered much more than wine. Surrounded by the Sahyadri ranges and the peaceful backwaters of Gangapur Dam, the land gradually evolved into a beautiful wine estate where visitors could stay among the vineyards and experience the journey from grape to glass.

2009 · The Estate Takes Shape
In 2009, the vineyard resort began taking shape as a peaceful escape surrounded by vines and countryside views. It introduced guests to a different kind of holiday-one where mornings began among vineyards, afternoons were spent discovering wine and evenings slowed down beside nature.
2014 · The First Vintage
January 2014 marked an important chapter with the presentation of the first vintage of Soma wines. The collection featured different expressions of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc, along with red, rosé and dessert wines-each reflecting the character of Nashik's growing wine culture and Soma's years of winemaking experience.
2017 · A Proud Recognition
In 2017, Soma Vine Village was recognised as the Best Luxury Resort in Nashik. The recognition celebrated Soma's thoughtfully designed stays, warm hospitality, vineyard setting and its growing contribution to wine tourism in Nashik.
Today · The Story Continues
Today, Soma brings together a boutique winery, vineyard stays, private villas, the distinctive Barrel House, restaurants, wine tours, destination weddings, vineyard weddings, intimate celebrations, and peaceful countryside experiences.
